The project was designed in response to the problems detected when identifying tools and equipment in the industrial processes in which they are used. This lack of traceability of the parts has a negative impact on the competitiveness of our services, since it hinders the industrial operations in which machines and tools are used. Traditional metal surface labelling or finishing techniques are exposed to human error, and this has been widely overcome by non-visual reading techniques – especially in the case of RFID – in terms of agility, automation and reliability. However, there are many problems associated with these techniques when they are carried out on metal elements under real transport, storage and operating conditions.
The project will develop a solution that aims at managing industrial metal machines and tools, increasing the controlled circulation and processing speeds, while registering all operations carried out.
Our company has been included in the TOP 50 of the Ranking of Companies Committed to Youth 2024, delivered by the International Youth Organization for Ibero-America (IYO) and DCH – International Organization of Human Capital Managers.
Duro Felguera has recently joined Recruiting Erasmus, an initiative led by PeopleMatters, a consultancy firm specialising in people management, which aims to facilitate contact between partner companies and Spanish and foreign students, whether through an Erasmus scholarship or another training programme, who want to make the leap into the professional world.
