In 2019 Duro Felguera won the contract for two turnkey projects for Endesa; the mission was to start up the ancillary denitrification systems at their power plants in Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
The cost of the two projects amounts to over 25 million Euros.

Duro Felguera, a Spanish company specializing in the delivery of turnkey projects and the provision of specialized services in the traditional and renewable energy, bulk handling, oil & gas, energy storage, new technologies and smart systems sectors, has completed two turnkey projects for Endesa to implement auxiliary denitrification systems at its power plants in Barranco de Tirajana, Gran Canaria, and Granadilla de Abona, Tenerife.
The projects, which were awarded to DF Operaciones y Montajes in 2019, consisted of the engineering, purchase of equipment, construction and commissioning of the ammonium unloading, storage and injection systems for the denitrification reactors at the two plants.
The wastewater treatment plants from the denitrification reactor were also designed, built and commissioned.
