On 20th February we received provisional acceptance by Lafarge Ciments France of the project called Kiln af Increase, for the expansion of the volume of alternative fuels in the main burner of the kiln of the plant located in Martres-Tolosane (France).
The project, carried out by our Mining & Handling team, included the structural and mechanical works, with the following scope: truck unloading area, two warehouses, screening system, tubular conveyor belt and burner feed system, as well as installation of a pneumatic conveyor and an auxiliary burner for the furnace. With all this, the factory has been provided with greater energy recovery capacity, through a more sustainable and less polluting production process.
The project to extend the Lagarge France recovery furnace at the Martres-Tolosane plant is a very significant milestone for the growth of our company in the field of alternative fuel management, demonstrating our commitment and capacity to meet the requirements set by a client as demanding as Lafarge.
